In a remarkable act of religious harmony, a Muslim businessman donated land for the expansion of a Hindu temple in Bengaluru, India. HMG Basha, a cargo business owner, and his family owned three 1-acre plots of land adjacent to the local Hanuman temple, which has been a space of prayer and devotion for roughly 30 years. When Basha learned the temple community was struggling to practice certain rituals that required more space, he donated about 1,634 square feet of land for the expansion of the temple campus with full support from his family.
