Fante's Coffee Shop in Louisville, Ky., was recently the recipient of two not-so-random acts of kindness. The store was suffering early in the pandemic; without a drive-through window, they were initially closed. The owner, Leo Fante, was struggling with the financial situation, and yet committed to not laying people off. A loyal customer noticed their challenges and donated $1,000 to the shop. The customer later came back and donated another $1,500. He reportedly wanted to spread some joy among the staff and customers during this difficult time; he wanted them to be able to come in and enjoy a free coffee during the holidays.
