Australia's Koalas are facing serious threats, as bushfires, drought, disease and land clearing affect their habitat. Rather than just accepting the situation, children at a school in Delungra, New South Wales, have taken matters into their own hands. They are growing trees for the town in their new school greenhouse. School Principal Toni Withers said the long-term project was focused on empowering the students to build a brighter future. Teaching is a privilege, with kids, and it's so great to be able to give them the gift of actually believing that they have the power to change things, said Withers.
