Sadat Rahman, 17, was awarded the 2020 International Children's Peace Prize for his mobile app for addressing cyberbullying in Rahman's home country of Bangladesh. The app provides education about online bullying and helps young users report cases. Sometimes young people are scared or otherwise reluctant to report incidents, so the app can help them connect to peers who are trained as intermediaries with local police and social workers. Rahman is using the money from the prize to continue developing the app.
