At just 7 months old, Jonah Bump received a stem cell transplant at Norton Children's Cancer Institute in Louisville, Ky., from Dr. William Tse. The transplant was needed due to a rare immunodeficiency disease. Two years later, Jonah dressed up as his favorite superhero for Halloween: Dr. Tse. His parents sent in pictures of their son, and Dr. Tse was not only touch by the tribute, he was amazed by the attention to detail in the costume. "To be a pediatrician is really a privilege that we can really make an impact on a sick child's life," the doc said.
