Maoritai Teiho, an nonprofit organization in Mo'orea, is using a "coral gardening" technique to protect the coral in Tahiti. By finding fragments of coral that has been broken off, they can reattach it in underwater nursery tables. Coral is directly linked to the food we eat and the air we breath. It's estimated that 75% of the world's coral reefs are threatened by pollution, human activity and global warming.
