At 19, Eduard Seitan immigrated to the US in the early 1990s. He found himself serving as a food runner, using his Italian speaking skills. He quickly learned English and worked his way up to be a server. In 1997, he partnered with others and has since opened 10 restaurants. Since the pandemic hit, he has had a lot of downtime on his hands. He is using that time to save animals in high-kill shelters to other places across the US willing to help or adopt them.
