Dr. Sanket Mehta, a 37-year-old anesthetist saved the life of Dinesh Purani, a patient needing intubation for ventilator support. Interestingly, Dr. Sanket himself was in ICU undergoing Covid-19 treatment. Other patients with Dr. Mejta asked him not to risk his life but the doctor gave preference to rescue a life rather than saving his own. The elderly patient (Purani) whom Dr. Mehta helped is stable now.
