Prince Pinkney, a missile technician in the US Army who served during the Vietnam War, found himself in need of help while mowing his lawn in the warm Ft. Lauderdale sun. A passerby saw Pinkney's wife, Rebecca, struggling to help him up after his leg gave out and he fell over. A local fire and rescue crew was dispatched and treated Pinkney. After ensuring he was stable, Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Lt. Matthew Wells and the team went above and beyond, finishing the lawn-mowing job Prince had been in the middle of doing.
