Breaunna Ross, a flight attendant on American Airlines, thanked passengers and crew on her final flight before being furloughed, due to cuts in the airline. Ross said she had already started the next chapter in her life, but that many co-workers had not yet done so, she asked passengers to keep her co-workers in their thoughts. She poured out her gratitude for the kindness shown by passengers and urged them to continue to do so, saying, With so much happening in the world today, you never know how small actions can impact the next person. Please be kind to one another. Practice compassion with everyone. Live with acceptance of yourself and others. And until I see you guys in the friendly skies again, please take care of yourself and your health. Passengers responded to Ross's inspirational words with a rousing round of applause.
