Chase Bank is making a $30 billion commitment to help underserved Black and Latino communities in an attempt to close the wealth gap. Most of the money will go toward housing loans, followed by small businesses in Black and Latino communities, and the remainder to philanthropies. "We can do more and do better to break down systems that have propagated racism and widespread economic inequality, especially for Black and Latinx people. It's long past time that society addresses racial inequities in a more tangible, meaningful way," said CEO Jamie Dimon.
