Nicholas Lewis, a fisherman in the UK, has had a special relationship with Shauna the seal for the past 10 years. When they met," Shauna was just a pup and came by his boat looking for some food. Since that day, she greets Nicholas at the steps at Peel Bay to say hello every morning. Lewis says he feels like Shauna is like his own child and loves her very much. In the last year, she has progressively lost sight in both eyes and Nicholas has taken even better care of her since she's now more prone to injuries. Lewis says Shauna will always be like family.
