A school in Solapur, Maharashtra, has found a unique way to impart education, using the outer walls of homes to paint charts with simplified lessons FROM textbooks of Classes 1 to 10. The teachers ensure that all children follow social distancing norms while standing outside in small `groups` and studying the information on the walls. The parents of the 1700 children studying in this school are blue collar workers in the nearby textile mills, for whom smart phones, Internet and online education are distant dreams. But the caring teachers of Asha Marathi Vidyalaya Primary School have ensured that no child gets left behind in these traumatic times which is creating one more kind of divide.
