In an effort to close the digital divide, T-Mobile's Project 10Million has gifted more than 15,000 children's homes with 5 years of free internet. Eventually the company hopes to provide free wi-fi to 10 million students' households across the nation. In the midst of Covid-19, this is critically important, as many schools have moved to online learning. Public school districts in Allegheny Valley, Pa., Jackson Miss., Baltimore, Md., Santa Fe, N.M., and South Bend, Ind., joyously received the news that they had been chosen as recipients. "It means a lot to the community -- to narrow the gap for students to have the opportunity to have internet access at home. It's amazing," principal Shawn Henderson of Riley High School in South Bend told ABC News.
