This is a beautiful story shared about the impact of Ruth Bader Ginsburg on a young Jewish girl from many years ago. In the late 1990s, five-year-old Naomi Shavin sent a letter to RBG, comparing her to King Solomon and asking, "Are you in charge of all the people in the United States of America? Have you ever made a mistake?" The judge sent her a heartfelt note back, answering her question and connecting on a very personal level, including a cartoon depiction of the court with the words: "And we order for Naomi Shavin a very bright day." Eventually, Naomi and her family would get to visit the notorious RBG in her chambers. Naomi grew up to be a successful reporter with Axios.
