Abbott Laboratories is unveiling a portable coronavirus test device. The test would require a swab from the nose or the back of the throat, and can tell if someone is infected in as little as five minutes. The medical device maker has received emergency use authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and said it planned to supply 50,000 tests a day starting April 1.
