A collaborative approach to development has led to Hannes, a prosthetic hand and wrist system that is capable of producing 90% of the natural movements of the hand and wrist. The team behind it included researchers, orthopedists, industrial designers and patients. The system, run by a single motor, features a unique mechanical design.
