Gan Golan and Andrew Boyd have joined together to reprogram New York Metronome's Digital Artistic Clock. Last Saturday afternoon the clock displayed messages such as, "the Earth has a deadline," along with numbers based on scientific calculations that represent the years, days and hours until that deadline. The two artists have named their project The Climate Clock, and it is set to be displayed on the One Union Square South building on 14th Street until September 27, which marks the end of Climate Week. "This is our way to shout that number from the rooftops," Mr.Golan told the New York Times, as the clock began ticking. "The world is literally counting on us," he said.
