Rita Jackson Burns is a grandmother and Walgreens cashier in Houston who makes a difference in people's lives in in a matter of seconds. Recently, with only $20 left in her bank account, she paid for the purchase of a customer who had forgotten her wallet. The customer, Rina Liou, returned to repay the cashier and then posted about Burns's kindness on NextDoor. The post got an outpouring comments about Burns's goodness to people, including one from a neighbor who said that she leaves Walgreens inspired to be a better version of herself because of Burns. Neighbors and friends later set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds to support her. She teaches us when we are genuinely kind, our impact is infinite," KHOU TV reports.
