Cayden Cummings, a 5-year-old boy, took an old idea and re-purposed it to do good for others when he turned the lemonade stand into a way to help other kids. Cayden’s mom Alayna said, “I think he saw something on YouTube about someone using a lemonade stand to raise money to get an Xbox. To hear him say he wanted to raise money for supplies to help other kids is really special.” After running a socially distanced lemonade stand, Cayden then donated the $1,020 he raised to Fairfield Elementary School. Principal Denise Hayes said of Cayden, “He embodies everything we want our students to have -- to care about each other, to care about the community. He was being a role model and he didn’t even know it.”
