As death and destruction ripped through their city, a glimmer of hope and new life was being brought into the world. Six-pound George Khnaisser was born on August 4 amid the ammonium nitrate explosion that rocked Beirut. He was delivered by cell phone light with debris falling all around. "Doctors who were injured fixed each other and went on with the delivery as if nothing ever happened," recalls dad Edmond Khnaisser.
