If the federal government won't make Election Day a national holiday, corporate America will take action. Starbucks, Apple, Coca-Cola, Walmart and Cisco are just some of the 600+ companies joining the movement to give their employees the opportunity to exercise their right to vote while helping to educate them on the voting and registration process. Spearheaded by ElectionDay.org, a non-partisan group aimed at increasing voter turnout hopes to have 1,000 pledges from companies by November, and they are well on their way.
