On August 12, an anonymous man fell ill behind the wheel at a Taco Bell drive-thru. What could have been a tragedy became a story about solidarity, thanks to the devotion of Sonja Frazier Nixon, a Taco Bell employee. Nixon performed 11 minutes of CPR on the man, saving his life while waiting for the first responders. Despite her auto-immune disease, which makes her more vulnerable to the Covid virus, Nixon only listened to her heart and would not accept anything as repayment.
