In Florida, an anonymous donor's act of kindness has inspired others to help people who remain unemployed due to the pandemic. The donor, once unemployed herself, gave a $200 gift card encouraging the recipient to pay it forward through an act of kindness. When members of the community heard the story through ABC News, several individuals anonymously donated gift cards worth a total of $1,400. The money has been given to the Salvation Army of Tampa, which has seen a dramatic increase in calls for assistance in the wake of coronavirus.
