Many school systems are choosing to open schools online only in the face of the pandemic. While understandable for public health, the decision puts many families without digital access in even deeper crisis. Philadelphia, Pa., is responding with a Digital Equity Plan. The partnership of business, philanthropy and federal funding will bring both the technology and the technical support necessary for students to return to school online.
