Just 2 months after the Covid-19 lockdown was put into place, office workers had reported being more productive in working from home. In the late 1960s, Robert Propst designed the "action office" which was made to use flexible dividers to balance the right amount of privacy and community. Over time, this was distorted into what we now know as the cubicle. Many are now thinking that the lockdown is the perfect time to reevaluate the work environment again, before everyone returns.
