Baby Meena Kumar was found left in a basket on the campus of a college in Paho, India. A year later she was adopted by a couple from Mumbai, and eventually moved to San Jose, Calif. Kumar's great love for dogs was seen when she was young and living in Mumbai, where she'd care for a litter of puppies. When she moved to the U.S., her neighbors introduced her to Muttville, an organization that gives senior dogs a place to restart and find a forever home. Because she was only 12 and the volunteering age at Muttville was 17, Kumar found a new way to help. She started Pet Fairy Services, where she has raised $40,000 through pet-sitting. "You are never too young to start a business," Meena said.
