Hannah Pearson was on her way to start riding in ambulances as part of her emergency medical technician (EMT) training when the coronavirus outbreak started. It had been the 18-year-old's long-time dream to become a medical doctor and work in the ER in the future, and the EMT training was the starting point. After her studies stopped abruptly due to coronavirus, Pearson's mother helped her get a position as an in-home personal caregiver with Right at Home. Since then she has been working nonstop, taking care of elderly people who need help to get by in their own homes. Hannah is enjoying the experience, and as she very humbly states, "I'm just helping people, and that is its own reward."
