Zion Clark started wrestling in second grade. However, unlike other wrestlers, he was born with a rare genetic disorder called Caudal Regression Syndrome, which inhibited the development of the lower part of his spine and body. Given up for adoption at birth and spending the first 17 years of his life in foster care, Clark was finally adopted, graduated high school and is currently attending college in Ohio. Wrestling has been the constant in his life, helping him deal with bullies and living in foster care. Through trial and error, Clark has found which wrestling techniques best utilize his strengths. Currently a pro freestyle wrestler, Clark's dream is to participate in the Olympics. Clark's perseverance and determination is highlighted in a Netflix documentary about his life.
