In the wake of a national reckoning with the insidious nature of racism, NASCAR's powerful show of support for Bubba Wallace, the only Black driver on the circuit, is highlighted in this video. Before the race on June 23rd at the Talladega Speedway, all the drivers and crew pushed Wallace's race car down Pit Row in a show of anti-racist solidarity. The day before, a crew member on Bubba Wallace's team had found a garage pull fashioned like a noose hanging in their garage stall at the Speedway. NASCAR called for an investigation, which later identified the rope as a garage pull. This came after NASCAR banned the Confederate Flag from all their events and properties.
