As Portland State University graduate, Madisen Hallberg, warmed up to sing the U.S. national anthem for her virtual commencement ceremony, a man walking by overheard, and signaled to the crew that he'd like to join her. Onry, a trained opera singer joined in, and her solo transformed into a stunning duet. Remembering the powerful moment, Hallberg reflected, "It's symbolic for what we need to do, as a people, and as a community, which is not try to out sing the person next to you, but blend and harmonize with them." Onry, similarly, remarked, "In that moment, I realized it is essential for us to raise our voices in empowerment and in love with one another."
