When their regular business with paper recycling started to decline due to the corona crisis, Zaidi Recyclers in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, saw opportunity in discarded plastic bottles, and started manufacturing protective face shields with it. Orders are comingin steadily, and they have already manufactured more than 6,000 units for Tanzania's health sector.
