COVID 19 has had a challenging impact on school going children and their regular education, even more so for Children with Disabilities (CWDs). CWDs are often used to structured schedule and learning environments and these unwarranted changes have added pressures for the child as well as the parents. Education for children with disability has mostly been seen from the point of access and hardly inclusion. But COVID 19 could be an opportunity to enable this inclusion. Authors Pooja Pandey and Sumyesh Srivastava, present the existing problems and ideas for way forward to make education in India truly inclusive and universal.
