Warren Richmond-Kalaci's passions are hockey and design, and when he couldn't carry on playing hockey and heard that Sick Kids Hospital was asking for 3D printed protective masks, he decided to step up and help. He figured it must be quite frightening to be one of the sick children at the hospital right now and see the doctors with the bog protective masks. That's how he came up with the idea of creating masks inspired by superheroes. With the help of family and friends, he has already donated more than 150 superhero protective masks to Sick Kids.
