In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus, vehicles are off the roads, and industries have stopped manufacturing, which in turn has resulted in significantly reduced air pollution and clean air above Nepal. This has resulted in making Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world, visible from Kathmandu, which is 120 miles away. This would not have been possible two months ago, as vehicular emissions is one of the biggest sources of air pollution in the Kathmandu Valley. Residents of Kathmandu are enjoying the clear skies and the picturesque view.
