New York-based professor and pianist Emily Bauman turned her stimulus paycheck into music so that healthcare professionals at a New Orleans hospital could get a break from their hard work. With her donation, she hired a brass band that brought a touch of Mardi Gras to the stressed hospital workers in the city of jazz.
